smoke question

ok background on the car...
93 camaro z28, lt1, auto, aftermarket dual exhuast, new spark plugs, other than that everything is stock....
here is the problem....
the car has been sitting since august.... the car leaks a little oil and the trans leaks a little too... i started it up the other day and there is a lot of white smoke that is coming out of the exhuast... its little at first and then when it warms up and the smoke is constant.... (more background...) the reason why the car sat was becase it was backfiring and when it warmed up and drove at about 2500 rpms it would backfire and pop... i noticed this first happend when i took it up to about 90 on the highway... but after that it was happening at lower speeds... i noticed as i looked at the wires that one had been cut by the pully system... it was the wire that goes to the number 4 plug....i got new 8.5 mil wires and just have to put them on...
When running...
idle is at about 1000 rpms... at little high...
oil pressure at start is about 55 to 60 and then idles at about 25 psi
all fluids are good... radiator full... oil.... trans... all good..
my questions is...
is the smoke because of the wires or is it something else...

Did you check the oil condition? Does it appear milky?

The longer i go between starting my car the more smoke it makes. Once in drive it a little it get much better. I think this is common if you didn't have the smoke problem before you drove it. I have an older camaro that leaks oil and transmission bad unless you drive it. I guess you need to keep the gaskets lubed or they dry up and leak.
