smog/air pump delete ?
Somehow, I think its a good idea to be a bit more friendly to new members. Yes, its important to let them know that many of the questions that are being asked have already been asked and answered, but its sort of unfriendly to jump on people who just joined and are trying to find their way around.
JMHO.
JMHO.
I can verifi that this will work. just unplug the air pump and remove it. I did this when i forst got my car and no codes were thrown.
I have a rep of being one of the more "mean" members but thats only when someone is given good advice and they totaly ignore what was said. Case in point. Last week fred told a guy he need to bypass his tach flter on his 93 so he could use a 95 cluster. Well the guy was getting pissy becuse noone told him why his 95 cluster wouldnt work. I wrote a nice detailed how to for him and he got pissed when it didnt work. (his 95 cluster was bad) I was a little mean in that post but the guy deserved it. Most of the new people are here to learn and ask questions. Its going to happen. It takes 30 sec to answer most questions and if you dont know the answer but tell someone to "just try a search" then you shouldnt post at all imo. Leave the thread to people who know how to properly answer the question asked. I will usulay answer the question then add a section at the bottom of my post telling the poster that maby next time his question could be answered in one of the many faq's or by using the search feature.
