was it the white one? "run 11's for $1500"

If thats the one then it had a 501 caddilac and a TH400....kept overheating but it ran like 11.0's with not work on the motor at all

I have seen some nasty chevettes, opels GT's too........they are more than a handfull to drive tho, get away from you real quick

That could have been. I thought it had an SBC motor in it, maybe it did have a BB Caddy motor though.

I seen a VW bug before had a BBC in it but it had the motor transplated to the front. My friends dad sad they used to do/see it all the time back in the '70s or so, they just flipped the axel in the opposite direction and had a front mounted motor car that was rear wheel drive! But he also had a 13:1 SBC in a Chevelle that wouldnt be very economical today but still it is do-able!

Actually, no. I yanked the LT1/T56 out of my Vega with a friend in 30 minutes from the time we removed the hood. Chevrolet Vega/Monza is the ONLY way to roll. Could I be biased because I am the co-admin of H-Body.org?

I have seen a post on a guy putting an lt1 in a late 90-2000ish Subaru Impreza.

Here's one I saw from that same show mentioned earlier---Stacey David of Gearz. Take a look at the Hoss Fly...

Not that it would fit, but an LT1 would make a "Smart Car" really fly!
