smaller cam wih my heads

i have the comp cams xe 236/242 in a stock bottom end 350 . i had the specs of this cam faxed to the guy doing my heads at the time. if i changed to a smaller more streetable cam, how bad will this be in terms of performance? i wan't to make around 400 rwhp . thanks in advance guys oh yeah what would be a better cam selection?

Im no cam expert but with good tunning and bolt ons, I would think the cc306 or the 230/236 with a good set of heads could hit 400rwp...that or very close.

It'll still make power with a less aggressive/lower duration grind if the heads are decent . The LT1 castings are tough to make 'too big'
