When looking at the front of the motor, what is the pulley that is to the immediate left of the tensioner?

Whatever is connected to that appears to be leaking a little bit of oil. Probably about a couple of drops every 2-3 days or so. I know it isnt much, but I HATE OIL LEAKS... Any thoughts???

 

That's your air conditioning compressor.

dead center is the crank, next one left is the tensioner, next one left is A/C comp., above that is the P/S, above that is the alt.

 

i knew i should have removed all of that crap... i never use the a/c... hmmm, would oil be leaking from there or is it coming from some place else? From what i can see (which isnt a whole lot) nothing above it seems to be leaking...

And if it is from that... what needs to be replaced? Is this a common issue?

You're AC system does contain oil. The "oil" also could be power steering fluid as the hoses/reservoir for the power steering are located just above the AC compressor.

 

yeah, those fluids look the same, ill have to see if it is coming from above the AC compressor or not... thanks.

I dont know which I would rather have leaking, sucks either way.
