slugish when warm

a number of reasons. First off any motor will make less power when the ambiant temperature is hotter because hot air takes up more volume so you get less O2 molecules in the cylinder to react. Hot motors are usually when it's hot out. That is the idea behind a 'cold air intake'. If you haven't done the TB bypass then this furthur heats up the intake air as the coolatnt gets hotter making the power loss even more. Also, electrical systems don't operate as efficiently when they are hot. My old CJ7 motocraft ignition would get heat soaked so badly with the motor only around 190 that it wouldn't even run. Let it cool off and it fired right up.
I can't think of any other reasons, but thats the main causes.
