sluggish while cruising

Camaro after the new Trans, while cruising if I give it a little gas it like Boggs down and won't downshift right away. Other than that it drives great. Any ideas

Not too familiar with automatics but might see how she does manually shifting down as well as cruising it in the gear she would shift down to. Given the motor isnt sluggish its probably in the tune for the transmission would be my guess as it may need tweeked from what your old one was set at.

It is the Trans that was in my TA, fully rebuilt with the valve body out of the Camaro.

Could the torque converter be to low of a stall speed?

Re: sluggish while cruising

Sounds a little like throttle position sensor issue. You can rule that out with a quick voltage check.

Sure did. I drive the car everyday with no issues just doesn't want to downshift right away and will bogg down for a little then kick down. I'm going to swap the tps from my TA to this engine see if there's any difference.

The converter is new just don't know if the stall is to low, not sure how it would act if so.
