Look for 10-15 rwhp from a shortie header install instead of stock manifolds.

You should be able to keep your current plug/wire setup. You may have to invest in some fire sleeve to protect a couple of the wires.

You may want to invest in a set of OTVC wires and looms, just to make sure you don't burn your new wires.

A good bet on any header install is .3 and 3mph.

Going fast is expensive. You're not going to find a whole lot of modifications that you can "feel" without spending some money in the process.

headers was the only mod i did beside heads and cam where i felt a noticable SOTP feel. I love my SLP's i actually ran all my wires in the stock location except the third one back on the drivers side.

I've got slp's and all my wires are in stock position and not burnt. Just make sure to do it right the 1st time.

the #5 plug (third back on the drivers side ) is known to be harsh on plug wires because its so close. What I did on mine was I ran Bosch Platinum plugs (the original not the +4 or whatever) which are shorter than normal plugs. I have yet to burn a wire on any plug and I have no firesleeving or anythign anywhere. Just for the hell of it I threw the stock metal heat shield on the #5 plug wire boot as well, although its really not necessary (its really tough to get on too).
