SLP header y-pipe leaks????

What gaskets are you guys running on the y-pipe flanges? 2.5 donut gaskets? I have the flange with 2 bolts, I dont even have a gasket on them now but they are both leaking and its really really annoying, also what bolts are you using for those 2 bolt collectors. any ideas tips any way to help me seal them up and not have them leak would be the bestest ever! Thanks in advance guys,

Keith

I'm not sure how they come brand new, but my used ones had a donut gasket welded into them made of metal. if your flanges look like this ==< >== (if you get the idea) you need to have a donut gasket in there..

Yeah they are like flat on both ends, to hard to explain but I think you know what I mean, will the donut gaskets hold up, anyone use regular napa 2.5 inch gaskests??

Do you have dual cat headers or single? Sounds like you are talking about singles. On singles I used the donut gasket and bolts SLP sells with their install kit for the y-pipe to header flanges. Without that thick donut gasket I'm sure it would have leaked.
