I use Et Streets.
Since I enjoy bracket racing in street class, plus many tracks have street tire only nights, I like to use a DOT approved tire so I am less limited as to when I can race.
At high 12's at 107, ET Streets would be fine for you.
Mickey Thompson makes a size, 26" x 10 1/2" x 16, part number 3792 that will fit on your stock rims.
I went to a 10" rim so I could use a slightly wider tire, but an ET Street will provide nearly the same traction as a full slick and significantly more than any drag radial that I have seen.
You should check out the Micket Thompson site at http://www.mickeythompsontires.com
They even have pre-sales support phone numbers to help you pick the right tire.
Et Streets are designed for use with tubes and I use them. Not everybody does, but when my butt is travelling over 100mph I like to play by the manufacturers recommendations. If you decide to use tubes you will need to enlarge the valve stem openings. Also, any low pressure soft compound tire MAY spin on the rim. I use rim screws because mine to spin but many folks do not have this problem.
