size of header and y-pipes
Hi everyone!
I´m thinking about making my own custom headers and y-pipe. I know it isn´t an easy task but I want to try and have access to both MIG and TIG and all other tools necessary. My first question is what tube sizes I should use for the header and y-pipe. I´m thinking 1-3/4" for the headers and 3" tubes for the y-pipe. I will probably remove the cats altogether. Will 3" y-pipe be an overkill for my presently almost stock LT1??
