Size of EGR "nuts"

Does any one know what size nut that is on the bottom of the EGR/AIR tubes? You know...the gold one that can slide up...What I am trying to do is get a bolt that is the right size to put in my emissions equipped pacesetters fittings on the first primary and then weld up the tube on the pass. side header. Thanks, Brad

If it is like the rest of the EGR fasteners, it is 5/16-18 thread.

I think you've got people confused, because you refer to the "EGR/AIR tubes". No such tubes... theres a corrugated EGR tube that runs from the #8 primary to the back of the intake manifold. Then there are two AIR tubes that run to the exhaust manifolds. The answers you got were for the EGR tube. The AIR connections can be plugged with a 22mm oil drain plug. This is not the exact size of the connection, but it worked very well on my AS&M headers.

Which tube or tubes did you mean?
