Single OR Duel Electric Cut Outs?

I was just curiouse if it would be worth while to have duel eletric cutouts or just a single one. In about a week I will be throwing on some Jet-Hot LT's on my car, then over the winter I am going to pull of my heads and intake get them port matched. Would it be a good idea to get duel's or just a single? The majority of the mods I have are in my sig. Some feedback would be awsome. Thanks guys.

dual is sweet its like having dual exhaust Except don't place them too close to the 02s because the minor leaks that happen will upset the 02s, & if you open the cut-outs & drive around all your o2 readings will be different & computer will be confused & relearning, so have a bit of place in between.

It really depends on how you do your setup. If the cut-outs are used for drag racing and only that. I would say use two of them after the headers in the first part of the y-pipe. It will be extremely loud. If you may want some street use out of it, just use one before the pipe goes up and over the axle. It will be loud and give you the flow but not quite as bad as two of them right after the headers. Either way will work fine. Just depends on what you want.

I am looking for street and strip use. My car doesn't get used over the winter, I keep it in storage. So would duels from the headers be a decent choice?

I'm getting duals. I've heard it sounds a little better.

If you put them right off the headers it will be mega loud but most electric ones let you open them only a bit or a full or half etc.

I heard two right off headers on a built small block 81 ta and it sounded great but it would be instant tickets full open on the street. I like my current setup ok.Its in back after my cats and is nice open but not stupid loud and resonance is bearable in the car.I can also make the car quite quiet this way. Sort of best of both worlds.

I believe Kain on here had problems with the duals. I'd just do the single afte the y-pipe. My car is extremely loud with the single and hooker long tubes.

duAls, come on, unless you're calling someone out to a duel.

i dont think it would make much of a difference at all if you're putting longtubes on and eliminating your cats. an open pipe is an open pipe. i can see how exiting earlier might help slightly, but probably not worth the extra money. plus, the y pipe setup has clearance problems anyways, putting cutouts in there would be rough.

Yeah, I'm scared. I should be getting my dual cutouts today and I'm not going to have much ground clearance at all. I guess that's the price you pay for performance and sound
