Ok i have a laptop for scanning my sensor readings...

Which side is the "Left" side? Drivers or passengers side?

Re: Simple question

hhmm... im kinda clueless right now because i think i have a BAD header leak on the passenger side and my left o2 reading is way off.

I know this is kinda an odd question, but say i burned a hole in a piston, would it mess up my o2 readings?

Re: Simple question

Yes.... a hole in a piston would mess up O2 readings. So will a misfire, leak in the exhaust before the sensors, etc.

Define "off".... what is the O2 sensor reading that makes you think it is "off"?

Re: Simple question

The "right" is reading ~.45 while the "left" is reading .08-.2 and when i drive around, its goin nuts.

I raced my buddy last night (350 rwhp LS1) and i was just a hair behind him. It was backfiring bad and missing. Im thinking im in the ballpark of 400 rwhp when its running right. Would it run like this with a hole in a piston?

Its also pulling a MAP code, which makes me think the hole would cause weird crankcase pressures and throw off the MAP. Just my thoughts.

Re: Simple question

When the engine warms up, the PCM should go into closed loop and under idle and part load (cruising), the O2 sensors should be cycling rapidly back and forth between 0XX - 9XX milliVolts.

If your right O2 sensor is "stuck" at .45V (450mV), it is "faulty". That is the voltage you will get when the sensor is not warmed up, or warmed up and not working. It sounds like the left one is doing what it is supposed to do, which is "goin nuts".... fluctuating at least 9 times per second between the extremes of rich and lean.
