sup everybody.. i noticed the other day when i was driving.. my car had kinda felt like it lost power (like gas didnt get too the engine) and it stopped going for like a quick 1 second.. and the "CHECK ENGINE SOON" light came on, then it went off and start back normally, and dat didnt happen again (but the car never turned off), i dont know if i said that right, but no the car didnt turn off, the engine sounded like it stopped though, but the car was still actually on... and i noticed dat my OIL pressure was kinda low yesterday, and usually when im idle the oil pressure hand is at the middle, when im sitting still.. but now its at the first line.. and dont u think thats kinda low? and then today when i started it, it was on the middle line at idle, but soon as i got back home.. the pressure dropped low.. is it the OIL i use now? i used a 5w30 before, and i didnt have the problem.. i had switched this time and got a 10w30 (Pennzoil, both oils where pennzoil, and i heard thats not really good oil) ... so what do u guys think ? my pops said it could be like a GAS FILTER.. but i think u guys would know best.. and when i driving up a hill (After putting in gas).. it seemed like the car had a lil stutter too it, like it was really no gas in there.. but after like 4 seconds of driving it got too normal.. this just barely started happening.. maybe u guys can put 2 and 2 together and figure something out.. help please

 

I'd put the 5w back in. I don't see how a fuel filter would effect oil pressure. Minimum oil pressure is 7.
