should I block off EGR on manifold while it's off??

I didn't have alvin at PCMforless program the EGR and AIR out of the system...

but I heard on OBD1 (1993) it shouldn;t throw a code, and I could just get a program update from him if it does.

So should I make 2 plates to block off the fittings on the back of the intake and then remove the lines, along with the air pump?

I blocked mine off when I did my cam install.
You might jump over to www.speeddensity.org and see what the majority did over there.
