shop manuals

im looking for a good source for shop manuals on my car. we use Helms at the shop for the vettes and they have one for my car. they are $120 though. so i was just checking to see what others use and where they are getting them from in case i could save some money. im not looking for a wide ranging book like a haynes or chiltons either. these books are year specific and very detailed and thats what i would like. thanks trey

Sorry I can't help you on where to get one for cheap but I use the Helms manual. Threre was a GP here about 2 years ago and thats how I got mine. I think I paid like $80 for the manual.

Good luck
Z~

Ebay seems to be a decent place. I'm chasing down one for my car right now, and so far it's cheaper than buying it new... there's still lots of time left on the auction, though!
