Need more info. Is everything else normal, but just won't crank? When you say "won't crank", do you mean the starter does not crank or the engine does not fire up? (some people use the terms interchangeably).

I would check your battery connections and connections at the starter. The purple wire at the starter should have 12v on it when the key is in the START position. Sounds like it might be the starter.

Your engine starter may be disabled because of the security system. I'm not sure exactly how long it stays that way, i think its 10-30 minutes or something... It can happen if your key is really dirty...

Someone might have more info on disabling the engine lock sooner, a towtruck guy i know said you can lock and lunlock the car around 4x with the key manually and it should disable it. .but i'm not sure
good luck, check the voltage on the terminals. If your car starts acting really weird like only the secuirty light is on, and if you remove and reconnect the battery the siren goes on really quietly and louder and quieter.. i'll be pretty sure its the batter thats dead... Mine did exactly that on sunday night and i found out the batter was leaking and was nearly dead.

That's a BIG thing to leave out. That is why I asked if everything else was normal. Forget everything I said before.
