shaved heads cam will i hit

When i did my head gaskets on my lt1 i had to have the heads decked to the bottom of specs in order for them to be straight i am putting an lt4 hot cam with 1.52 roller tipped rockers in and stock length rods i think, does anyone know if my valves will slap the piston? and to test i know to use clay but how much clearence do i need to be safe? also will stock pushrods suffice for the project not looking to spend much money on account of not having any. Any help will be appreciated

You should'nt even be close with that cam. I used a larger cam than that and still had .250 ptv clearance. What is the bottom of specs that you refer to?

If the heads are heavily milled I would not be blindly throwing stock pushrods at it.

Seeing as the HOT cam is intended for 1.6 rockers and is rather mild I would not even bother checking PTV clearance unless it is a zero decked block with a unreasonably thin head gasket.
