Shaking franctically when driving 80mph!

My whole dash board and car shakes pretty crazy when im hitting like 80mph+. Could it be my sub frame connectors? Help. Specs:96 z28, 216k on odo, 16k on rebuild

The stock driveshaft has been known to cause vibration at higher speeds.

The drive shaft probably needs to be turned 180*. It's balanced and it matters which way you put it on.

I would also question the balance of your front and rear tires/wheels. If a couple ounces of weights accidentally fell off one of your wheels, it could cause it to shake pretty well.

If you have a steel driveshaft, its the suspect. GM had a lot of problems with unbalance steel shafts leaving the factory. If thats the case, pick up a used ls1 aluminum one.

At a junk yard or ebay or the For Sale section.

I bet it is the driveshaft because my girlfriends camaro does the same thing at 80+mph. I thought it may of been the tires not being balanced or something, but she just got new tires installed and balanced. I just put a ls1 driveshaft in my camaro, some people put those in to get rid of the vibration, but i did it because it was a 70 dollar aluminum driveshaft on ebay + 30 for u-joints and a easy 5 hp, but dont use aluminum driveshafts if you plan on going with high hp numbers.
