Rebuilding my car not that I have a job and some money.

I rebuilt the motor to a 355 with a hotcam. I didn't get the kit so I am looking at the other valve train parts. I want shaft rockers becuase of thier mechanical advantage and quiteness. Few hundred more is not a big deal for mean and leaves me with room for a larger cam down the road.

Can I get 1.7 with shaft mounts or still only run 1.6s on the LT1.

I know everyone says it over kill but its what I want and just want advice on the 1.7s or 1.6s. I will get springs once i know what ratio.

1.6:1 will be fine. Use the cam for the lift you want.
