Several Questions about my buildup.

Its currently a stock 94 Lt1/M6. This winter the motor is coming out and getting rebuilt in hopes of a T-trim with air to water after cooler and Long Tubes. I am planning on a forged crank, rods, and pistons. I would like to see compression below 9:1, Is this possible with a stock heads? I would love to have a set of trick flow or AFR heads with larger chambers but I don't think the performance gain of an aftermarket head will be very significant and worth the $1500-$2000 price tag if the car is forced induction, what are you thoughts on that? The Reason I want forced induction is that i want to make big power but I need to pass emissions. What camshaft will be best for boost, emissions on stock heads or aftermarket heads. Any other useful info or opinions are welcomed.

Re: Several Questions about my buildup.

Bigger flowing heads will make a BIG difference even on a boost application. The larger chambers will help too.
Cam should be recommended by the guys that make it,but basically it will be a short overlap, short duration cam as compared to N/A.

Re: Several Questions about my buildup.

Is there any way to cost effectivly increase the combustion chamber size in the stock heads to help lower compression? Or would I be better off spending more money on different heads like AFR or TrickFlow. I have also heard that none of the after market heads will flow as well as a ported stock head. How low can I get the compression using a 54cc chamber?

Re: Several Questions about my buildup.

There is enough material to go to 57-58CC's on a stock casting if done by a pro.
TFS will outflow a stock casting if ported correctly.
