SES light on stock car

Question SES light on stock car

I just replaced my belts and hoses in my car and while i was putting everything back together i hacked the donkey dong off my stock airbox and left the plastic peice that holds the air filter off and left it held in their with some zip ties anyway my car runs great now but the ses light has popped on and all my sensors are connected i tried to reset the computer but no dice is this something that i will have to live with something i just royaly screwed or something that the moroso CAI will fix

replace the air pump fuse and athats it
the fuse u have now its blown
check it!

Did you plug everything back in.... MAF sensor (hard to tell if you even have one, since you didn't include any info about the year of your car), IAT sensor, coolant sensor, or anything else you had to take apart?

The "dong" is usually the big long thing that hangs down of the inlet elbow/bellows, not on the airbox. What exactly did you cut off? If it was the air silencer on the elbow, did you plug the hole up..... that would cause a huge air leak after the MAF sensor and set a code.

Shouldn't cause a problem.

Are you sure you have the inlet elbow on the throttle body completely? The bottom sometimes folds under and it leaks. Again, air entering the engine that hasn't gone through the MAF sensor.
