Exclamation SES light reset itself, can I still pull the old code?

Hey guys, my ses light was on for a week, then it suddenly went off when I was on the highway and stayed off for 2 days, then it went back on for a day, and its been off for two more days. Since its off on its own, can I still hook up my proscan tool to pull the old thrown code? I am new to this so sorry if its an obvious question, thanks--

Yes - the code is stored, so scan it, or take it to Autozone.

Maybe this is a stupid question: but why not just scan it and try before asking if you're unsure?

The code will stay stored until you drive the car a certain number of drive cycles, without the problem happening again.... as many as 50 drive cycles. Once you reach the pre-determined number, the code will self-clear from memory. So check it ASAP.

Thanks guys!!! Injuneer is a drive cycle when the ignition is turned on, then turned off again? Fred my proscan tool is on its way to me as I type. I bought it a few days ago, so its not here yet and I was planning on using it for this new ses light I just got, then it disappeared!!!! LOL.....oh well I can still use it.

I think a drive cycle requires a certain period of driving to "count". Not absolutely sure though.

Well I went to get emissions tested and FAILED again. UGGGHHHH!!!! Here are the 4 codes I am throwing

1. p0102 MAF circuit low imput
2. p0141 02 sensor Heater Circuit Bank 1 Sensor 2
3. p0400 Exhaust Gas Recirculation Flow (egr I guess)
4. p1153 Manufacturer-specific codes......

then I went to Autozone and had them see if they got anything different and the guy deleted the codes since my damn proscan is STILL in the mail. He then said, go try again , so I did and of course the pcm came up NOT READY on those four checks, lol. I thought that only happened when you disconnected the battery so I know that it does it with a deleted code too now. The car RUNS LIKE A CHAMP. I dont want to pay a shop to mess with anything if I can just get ION to delete those codes permanently when he does my tune. I guess its mostly related to my exhaust setup (edelbrock shorties with y pipe and one high flow cat into 3" catback w/ flowmaster muffler). Should I try to get them fixed or deleted permanently, what are your guys' opinions?! Thanks--

EDIT: is the maf sensor going off because I have a k&n or because I have descreened it or neither?!

Wow its funny you said that, I can smell and HEAR an exhaust leak for SURE, but the header bolts are SO hard to get to its ridiculous. I will try that first. The damn car passed emissions for the guy I got it from just 6 months ago....now its putting me through hell and back---
