My SES light came on today, car is running fine. There seems to be no apparent performance problems.. I was just wondering if maybe the opti spark would cause the light to come on.. thanx guys.

 

Why would you guess "opti" if its running fine? There are two DTC codes for the Opti, and niether of them turns on the SES light.

There are about 50 different codes, at least 1/2 of which turn on the light. It's always a good idea to get it scanned, to prevent something from becoming a major problem.

 

could be o2 sensors? take it to autozone get it scanned.
