Moparman thank you for all your help so far.
As noted above, overheating of the IC Module is a common problem. Shoebox has a "fix" involving spacing the IC Module off the head.

http://shbox.com/1/4th_gen_tech2.html#ICM_cooling

The IC Module is held on by two nuts. Unplug all the connectors for the IC Module and the coil, and unscrew the two nuts.

PS: It goes into closed loop when it warms up.

Advance had a new coil for $15 so I tried that, but it still has a bad stumble when I step on it hard, so maybe its the ICM they couldnt test it. There was corrosion on both the coil and the wire that connects the coil to the opti, advance didnt have any wires for an lt1, should i go ahead and order some from summit?

Take the ICM to Autozone. If the harnesses are in bad shape, you should replace.

Did the guy at Autozone look it up to see if they could test it?

Yea he did, he said they no longer have the machine to test ICMs. I just went and bought a new ICM and and will try it. Hopefully it fixes the problem. I have posted on my local f-body board too and one guy agrees that it probably is the ICM, since it keeps giving me problems once it heats up, but another guy says that code 36 Hi Res is directly related to the opti

Well I just took it for a test drive and its still stumbling when I step on it hard, then it will throw the code a be ok. So I guess it is the opti. I have a datalog from datamaster I did the other day, if anyone would like to look at it I can email it to them. Thanks everyone for their help so far

I suspected it was the opti. You've got some new parts now. Save the old ones, as you might need them sometime.
