SES Light on 1995 OBD1 with OBD2 style connector..
How do you check these SES codes?
Do you use an OBDII scanner or an OBDI scanner? I'd assume OBD I, but if so, do you get an adapter from somewhere? Can OBD II Scanners can these in some kind of backward compatability mode?
I think its just an O2 sensor, but I'd like to check first anyway..

You'd need an OBD I scanner. Shoebox's site shows how to make it work from the 12-pin cable.

If you dont mind spending $250.00, buy a Scanmaster. It reads OBDI codes and will help in the future if you have any other problems. I have had one 4 years, and definately money well spent. Cant even begin to tell you how many times it has helped me diagnose a problem.
