Angry ses code o336 crankshft position sensor?

just dropped in a new engine in my z and its running a bit rough. it has the code p 0336 for the crank position sensor. it has the lt4 hot cam and ported heads. is it just the sensor or what can i do or look at. it also has code 0131 for the bank one o2 sensor, but i replaced it. if anyone knows help me i haven't driven the z in 6 months!!!!!!

what about the opti? they still haven't adjusted the roller rockers could that be why its running rough or is it something else. i only have the two codes:

p0336 and

p0131

Why would you run it without adjusting the valves? Has it been tuned for the heads & cam?

If its running really rough.... with the cam, no tune, and the lack of a valve adjustment.... the crank position sensor is going to be putting out vibration patterns that the PCM can not recognize. That alone could set the code. If it was faulty wiring or a bad sensor, I think you would get P0335.

Get it set up properly, and see if the code goes away.
