SES Code 0174

I've been getting this code repeatedly (I've reset the PCM, and after about 10-15 minutes of driving, the code comes back) which I have translated to read, "Fuel Trim System Too Lean, Bank 2").

The engine doesn't seem to be running unusually, except for a persistant higher than normal coolant temp.

What components should I be looking at. which might throw this code? I'm thinking maybe one or more of the injectors on the passenger side may be getting "sticky" so they aren't opening properly to let the fuel through.

It's only the Bank 2 (passenger side) that's throwing the code.

Could it be a bad sensor? If so, where is this sensor that reads fuel trim?

Re: SES Code 0174

Oh great...and I just changed all O2 sensors less than 800 miles ago!!

Has anyone else experienced a bad O2 sensor with just that P0174 code before? I'm wondering if I should also be getting other codes for the O2 sensor such as P0151-P0155, P1153 or P1154.

Guess I'll go order another! LOL

Check for a vacuum leak especially the hose that goes to the PCV valve. A large enough vacuum leak can cause that code. It is possible that new O2 sensor could be faulty, but I would check the easy stuff first!
