Service Engine Soon light

Is there anyway to reset this light/turn it off? Thanks

on the side of the dash were the fuses are..there is a fuse that is labeled ECM BAT..... remove the fuse and place back ..that resets your memory...But if the vehicle is throwing a code it might come back.....
