I told him the proper name in post 4, no point in getting in a fight over it now. Whether it's considered a "EGR sensor" or a "EGR solenoid," the point is now he knows it's part of the EGR (which he doesn't plan on running), so he can remove it and make sure to block off the vacuum lines.

In post #8, he switched the topic to the EVAP solenoid.

Yes I did. But either way they were both solenoids.

Thanks for the help guys, dont fret too hard on intelligence of sensors vs solenoids. haha

My bad. Keep it to one thread per solenoid.

I switched it kuz i realized i didnt need the first one, i dug around and found the second one and installed it.
