Re: Sensor Location help

yes, and im thinking it goes right at the back drivers side intake manifold below the fuel pressure regulator mounted on an intake stud, correct?

where to the vaccuum lines go to, the long one goes to the the side of the intake manifold, the short one im unsure of?

also, where does the vaccuum line of the top of the fuel pressure regulator go to?

Re: Sensor Location help

It's the EGR solenoid. Shoebox's website has a couple great pics that will help you out.

This shows where the vaccum line goes into the intake manifold:

This pic shows where the EGR solenoid goes and the lines that run to the EGR valve.

Engine looks pretty -- what are the specs?

That's what I did but I still have that solenoid on because I've had trouble getting to it with the engine/intake in the car.

Re: Sensor Location help

Aight well i dont have to worry about that haha.

so the fuel pressure regulator just has to be on any vaccum port?

I tore this damn thing about like 2 years and am having fun finding all the sensors and where they go haha.

Only if you like to prevent the back end of your car near the carbon canister from stinking of fuel vapor.

Re: Sensor Location help

It's not a "sensor", it's a solenoid.

The "captain" likes to have things called what they are. It makes for better and clearer understanding. As it should be.
