Seem to have weird knock..
Seem to have weird knock..
Sometimes it seems I get a clean no knock run and sometimes I get knock.Enough to take away power I think..I would like a few ideas.
I have lt4 km.
I have rockers and cam and heads,no headers on there yet.Have magnaflow catback.Have granatelli maf and maf translator.I might try my stock maf again shortly to see whats up and also try no maft to try to eliminate them from the equation.I did use same maft and a ls1 granatelli maf with zero tuning problems on my ls1 and no knock problems.
I am running premium 91 octane.Doubt its the fuel.Gas is fresh not left over winter.
I also think maybe it could be problem from my ls1 driveshaft maybe hitting on my magnaflow intermediate pipe maybe.I was wondering if anyone had any problems with driveshaft catback interference and if so can maybe try to move the intermediate a bit or maybe go to 1le driveshaft.I don't want to use my stocker.
I would have thought the lt4 km would have helped if it was say something rattling under the car.
I also thought it might be the maft and granatelli not working together but
as said my ls1 granatelli seemed to work fine with the same maft.
