since my cam, I WOT it and my security light comes on.

anyone had this happen and what they did to fix it was?

I have not put my cam in yet but I have a 95 T/A and my security comes on sometimes and sometimes blinks I dont know why but I guess I never really cared. I just chalked it up to my car being a 95 an its been my experience that older cars sometimes pull lights for no apperent reason.


I know it doesnt help With your problem but I was just letting you know your not the only one.

I can take my key out when the car is running. After about 4 or 5 minutes the security light will go on. if i put it back in it will go off after about another 5 minutes.

 

This is all during WOT or hard launching. pops on for asecond, then drops off.

That is kinda strange, I what reasons does the light go on for? I know it blinks if you try to start it with a bad key, but what what else makes it come on?

 

unsure. just kinda freaks me out.

 

ya it is just one of those things that shoulden't happen but does. Even it the car is running perfectly, that light will always make it feel like there is somthing wrong. Good luck with it
