Re: Security and ABS INOP lights??

If it starts with the security light lit, then someone has already bypassed at least one thing. Start by providing the proper resistance to the BCM on the orange wrapped wires under the column. Use the same value as the key pellet. Be sure you unplug the connector and put the resistor in the end of the harness that goes to the BCM not to the key switch. This proves out the wiring is ok to the BCM but may be bad to the switch or more likely the contacts, the pellet or both may be worn.

If the ABS inop light is lit as soon as you start it, you know it's not the wheel sensors.
Wheel sensors will cause a soft failure and will cause the light to come on only after you start to roll. To find this hard failure you will have to scan it. Reset it and see if it returns.

As far as the fuel gage, I didn't see you mention other gages being the problem so the fuse should be ok. Also if the car runs, the ground to the fuel sending unit must be ok since it's the same ground for the fuel pump. The first thing to check is the sending unit at connector C405. It's plugged into the black 10 pin connector bolted to the body in front of the axle outside the body behind the rear seat. You can get to it easily by removing the left rear wheel. The pin you want is on the top white connector, the pin in the middle. Measure the resistance to ground. It should be between 1ohm empty and 88 ohms when full. If that's ok, plug it back in and measure the resistance of the same signal on the purple wire at the instrument cluster.
