Second time this code has appeared!

My car has a code P1661 that has come up now for a second time in the last week. The first time the code came up I posted the code here and shoebox said that this is the MIL circuit or SES itself. He recommended resetting the code, so I did. Now the code is back again. I used a different scanner this time to pull the code. The scanner reads, P1661, ODMC output1, Circuit Fault. There are no other trouble codes.

What do you think shoebox or any one? Everything seems to work just the SES comes on. I have checked fuses, all are ok. I am grabbing at straws here but, is it possible there is just a light bulb out somewhere on the car that is causing the SES to come on? Thanks for the help.

P1661 is "MIL control cricuit", as Shoebox indicated. Not sure what it is... maybe there is a continuity problem in the wiring or the dash light that only shows up intermittently. It's such an oddball code that you might almost be forced to find someone with a Helm manual, or (God forbid) try a dealer.....
