searched, but still confused about timing dot alignment
when installing the cam sprocket in relation to the crank sprocket. setting the crank dot at 12 oclock, #1 tdc. setting the cam dot at 6 oclock.
now when rotating the assembly, the crank rotates two times for every one cam rotation. does it make a difference if (assuming the cam dot is in 6oclock position) the crank dot is on its 1st rotation or 2nd rotation? or is it as simple as dot to dot?
i hope its clear enough, if not, ask and i will try and clarify. thanks for the help.

It's as simple as dot to dot.
First or second revolution is only relevant when the cam is rotating w/the crank. When the crankshaft gear dot is at 12 0'clock, the crank is always in the same position.
