Seafoam ?/oil question

Hey guys, newb ? here. I used seafoam on my truck and loved it. I plan on doing it on my new z28 before I change the oil. I used the pcv valve on my truck to put the seafoam in the motor. What vacuum line should I use for the Lt1? I also put it in the crankcase and fuel.
Also I live in AZ and it's hot, obviously. Don't know if synthetic or dino has been run in the motor. What should I use? I switched to mobil 1 synthetic on my pickup at 120k and it was fine, think I'll be ok with doing this on the lt1?
Thanks

I put about 1/3 in my gas, and 1/3 into the manifold via the throttle body. I just unbolt the elbow and have a friend give it a little gas while I spray it in there, then I kill it and hold the tb open and spray the rest in. I can't find the seafoam in the aerosol can form, so i just pour 1/3 of a bottle into a spray bottle and do it that way. By the time im done cleaning up and reconnecting the elbow, i start it up, useually takes a few tries, and take it for a spirited drive. When I get back, i pour the rest, 1/3, into the oil and let it idle for about 15 minutes. Then I change the oil with Mobil 1 0W-40. I've dont this many times without conflict and I will continue to do it every oil change.

Thanks for the tips. I love the stuff and my pickup ran great afterwards. Why do you say not to put any in the crankcase? It says on the bottle to do so. What weight oil would be good to run in a hot climate like AZ?

people say not to drive, because it isnt a lubricant like oil is, so it can cause problems

yeah...but running it at idle in the driveway isn't much different than driving around. and a 1/3 can won't do much.

i've done it...drove for about 50 miles and then changed the oil.

as for the oil...syn should be perfectly fine. i would go with either the factory recomended 5w30 or the old standby 10w30. should be fine.

I used to put a whole bottle into each, but that got a little expensive and if didnt really do to much more than 1/3 in each. I have also drove around with seafoam in my oil with no problems.
