I take no responsibility for the information in the links. Seems like every once and a while you hear someone that thinks Seafoam borked their engine/O2/life.

Does the Denali have fewer miles? That could be a major factor in why it didn't smoke as much. The more miles, the more carbon (crap) the more smoke.

Yeah, youre Z is almost 10 years old, the denali cant be more than like 5, so that means there is quite a bit less build up in that engine. Smoking is a good thing with seafoam. It means that it is cleaning all of the carbon build up. However, like was mentioned before, Seafoam might mess up your O2's, especially if this is your first time doing it. All that carbon junk flowing out of your exhaust more than likely will clog up the O2's. Do not be discouraged though, seafoam will keep that engine clean.

cool, wanted to make sure, car seems to be running a lot smoother now, so does the denali, which is an 01' with 108,000 on it. i need a new oxy sensors anyway, so not really worried about it. and for the record, i did a search before posting, the most i could come up with was telling me to "dump a can in the intake, half of one in the oil, the other half in the gas tank" seemed kinda excessive so i had to make sure.
