scoggin dickey lt1 short block

has anyone used there 383 in a build up?

While I didn't use one I did seriously consider getting one of Scoggin-Dickeys short blocks. Nice parts selection, especially the 5.85 Pro Mods and the CR needed for a serious cam.

I've never been able to find anyone who has used one. I like those guys and they have great service. However, that is a pretty high price. When I spoke with them 2 years ago they told me they were using new blocks.

You should call them and ask them who is putting them together, what clearances they are using and if it can be done custom for your needs. Some parts of the country like AZ wouldn't probably like 11.8CR

If Sunset does in fact do the building, I would highly recommend them. Sunset is a great shop.
