Scat rod hp rating

Alright looking at some parts for a future build and had some questions. Looking in the summit mag it says the scat I beam forged rods handle 750 hp. Are these the same rods http://www.summitracing.com/parts/SCA-25700/? It doesn't say the hp rating on the page

Thanks Chris

When I bought my SCAT rods(from another vendor), they said they were good to 800 hp at the flywheel.
edit:
Whoops.. I just noticed you mentioned "I" beams while mine are the "H" beams...

Pretty sure that rating is for the 7/16 higher strength ARP rod bolts, not the lower end 3/8.

I'm not qualified to make that decision, I'd ask your machine shop or engine builder. Plenty of guys running those in 500hp motors with 150-200 shots. I wouldn't be worried about them personally.

yeah the 7/16 arp 8740 bolts are the ones rated to like 700. Ive got a set and they're pretty beefy around the cap area. They have like a band over the cap and dowels to locate the caps on the rods. Nice pieces and cant beat the price and weight. Im putting down around 500 rwhp with them and they are the least of my worries. Im more woried how long the stock crank will last.

try this link

I believe these are the ones yer looking for. For about $50 more you get better fasteners.

Those are the best deal going on rods, you cannot come close to the quality for anything cheaper than $500.

That being said I would not push them that high with the 5.7" length due to piston weight as that's one of the common causes of rod failure, especially with the lower grade bolts. With a bolt upgrade and 400g pistons or lighter I would have no concerns pushing them that high.

Actually just purchased some Carrillo 6" rods from a guy in Indiana for $220.00 shipped. Barely used and he had new pin bushings put in. I'm going to check the rod bolts when they get here and even if I need new ones i still got them for cheap as hell

Its going to be a nitrous motor. Probably 11-1 cr with a custom cam. I want to make good power and have it drive around pretty easily, but its going to have a bunch of spray for the track

Define bunch.

If you not going over 750hp, they will be fine.
