scanned codes. got code 32 egr system fault.

where do i start the troubleshooting? I get a ses light intermittently. And on a few occasions my car has idle'd a tad rough. Twice after the car sat in the rain. And one after i raced someone.

That seems to be a relatively rare code on the OBD-I models (93-95).... the diagnostice isn't very sensitive. Either the EGR valve isn't opening when it is supposed to (the PCM doesn't see a change in the MAP sensor when the EGR valve is supposed to open), or the valve is stuck open (might cause rough idle/misfires) and there is no change in MAP because it is alrady open. Try removing the EGR valve and cleaning it.
