Scaned SES Codes
Scaned SES Codes
First, I've been having that problem i posted about after my headers and cam where ive been loosing power at low end and bogging. Well i had a custom OBD 1 PCM tuned by Madz28.com and still threw a code. Today I put the car on Datamaster and got 3 codes...
MALF 48: MAF system fail
(this one has to be the culprit of my boggig and loosing power at low end but not at WOT. Whats wierd is that I swapped my friends MAF in and still had the problem. But his was also very old)
MALF 84: Skip Shift Circuit Fault
MALF 83: Reverse Inhibit Circuit Fault
I had Skip Shift Removed so this makes sense, but not the Reverse inhibit circuit fault.
I have a lot of other data that I scaned also.

DTC 83 = Reverse Lockout Solenoid fault
DTC 84 = Skip Shift solenoid Fault (unplugged)
The above could be failures of the solenoids, wiring or the fuse that supplius them both.
DTC 48 = MAF Circuit Failure
Check the pink wire and see if you have +12V (harness plug disconnected). This is a common failure. May be a wiring fault, or a fuse problem.
