scan question

Just wondering is 6375 the max rpms data master or other scan software can record up to? have a 95lt1 (built 383 ) can push it further then 6375 rpms but datamaster stops recording @ that rpm.

Thanks

Re: scan question

They may be using a single 8-bit binary field in the scan software. RPM is measured by the stock PCM in 25rpm increments, so 25 x 255 = 6375 is the upper limit of an 8-bit field. The stock PCM must use additional bits internally to allow it to operate in exces of 6375rpm.
