Hi I just bought a scan master off the board and i am installing it on my 94 z. which wire do I hook the signal wire to my adl plug is a 12 and it has 4 wires going into the plug , a white and black, 2 black and white and a tan wire. it says to hook it to the serial data signal at the adl connector pin e.

looked under dash further found plug which has in one side wires d,e,f,g,h,j,k,l,m, out is the same letters but different wire colors. on pin e one side is grey the other is green?
