same question over and over

just picked up a 97 lt1 and i want to build the motor but i live in the chicago area and i have to deal with emissions. so my question is i want to put in a hot cam, long tube and just the normal bolt on's will i have a problem with epa?

Hot Cam, ok, but LTs maybe not. You probably have dual cats and perhps it would not be allowed to change the position the cats, which would be necessary in order to install long tubes. JMHO

Do you know do you have to pass a sniffer test and a visual or just sniffer? if just the sniffer you should be fine relocating your 02's and cats with LT's.

i think its just a sniffer test, and i will try running high flow cats on the car. also can anyone tell me the who makes the opti-spark repalcement coil kit? someone was telling me about coil kit is this true?
