How does one go about purchasing such a camshaft?

Hmmm. LSK lobes with a 1.7 rocker might get you there. Unless it is custom lobe not listed. None the less good lift for the cam duration.

3192/3194 lobes, 1.6 rocker ratio.

Thank You for the information. It just so happens I'm building a very similiar motor to the 370ci one in the thread. That is why the great interest in the cams.

In a 370 ci engine I would go with the 230/236 version. The 224/230 is very mild, even in my 350 ci.

Thanks. I agree that something around 230 degrees will do the trick and maintain a decent idle. With the Dart block I can bore out the camshaft tunnel and use a 55mm cam with babbit bearings. That should allow the cam grinder a little more leeway on ramp rates.

That is some serious power, and with a relatively mild hydraulic cam... Those AFR Eliminators are laying down some serious power #'s

Congrats on a kick A$$ combo.

Thanks everyone!

"I would hate to ever have to work on that car......" You and me both! Actually all the normal stuff (plugs, waterpump, opti, etc) is no worse than stock. The difficulty is in getting to the scavenge fittings on the bottom of the pump. Also changing belts is more of a pain now because of the drive mandrel sticking out in the front.

Lloyd, thanks very much for your compliment -- it means a lot coming from you!

Very nice setup! The only thing I see are the rubber bellows on each side of the MAF. Smooth ones couldn't hurt things any. What does the rest of the intake and exhaust look like?

Thanks! I may swap the bellows out later, but most of the 'Vette guys haven't gained anything from smooth ducts since it's a pretty straight shot.

The rest of the intake is a slightly ported stock MAF, then a cold-air intake that picks up air through the front of the radiator shroud. Not much different from stock, though.

Exhaust is Exotic Muscle headers with 1-3/4" primaries / 3" collectors, dual Carsound 3" Cats, Corsa 2-1/2" dual exhaust.
