car is running rich as crap, even with the new tune. The car has maybe 400 miles on the new motor with mods below, pulled it out after spending the winter parked and shes running rich as crap. black coming out the pipes real bad, running very very rough, fouling plugs very fast. any ideas what could be causing this?

 

Have you had the car tuned yet? If not that may be your problem.

Any exhaust leaks? Firing on all 8?

 

runs on all 8 until it starts fouling plugs. doesnt seem to have any leaks but ill take another look tomorrow

 

Try to get a datalog. There is likely a bad IAT or ECT or even O2, sensor

When the car is that far from right you can almost always bet its something mechanical.

 

if the above is ok, try MAP sensor.
Take somwhere that can check voltage ranges on all sensors and knows what they're lokking for.

 

I forgot that I left the IAT sim in there, so im thinking maybe that with the new tune are causing it to add extra fuel, then fouling the plugs and causing all of the idle issues?

Also very odd is that after start up the fuel pressure goes up to normal but once you shut the car down it bleeds off very fast.
