Re: Running Lean

How do you know its "running lean"? Do you have a wide-band chart showing the A/F ratio across the RPM range? Do you have data from the stock narrow band sensors showing low mV's? Do you have a scan that shows the BLM's? Under what specific conditions do you think its running lean... normal driving? .... WOT???

Re: Running Lean

Well, I'm kinda guessing on it. First I heard that if your car runs lean it will run hot also, well it is running hot and I have done everything I can think of to the cooling system. 2nd, It smells lean when I am running the nitrous, and 3rd my kit is shutting off at the top of almost every gear so I suspect that it is going lean and the FPSS is shutting the kit off. It is all kinda guess work really, I am going to get a A/F ratio gauge when I get the nitrous pressure gauge and see exactly where it is.
