running lean

just wanted to know if it was
safe to drive while running lean (about 160 range on both sides)

The BLM's are maxed out. You need to find out what the problem is before continuing to drive it. If the BLM's were below 160, it would mean the PCM is able to compensate for the lean condition, and eliminate the possibility of engine damage. But once you max out the BLM's, you run the risk of actually running lean.
